 Thé corporate team of The Hague
This corporate team was established in 1998 by a group of friends, most civil servants of the city of The Hague. This truly ‘mixed’ team consist of both men and women, with an age range of ‘20 to 50’, and with backgrounds ranging from long distance swimmer to karatika to marathon skater.
A succesfull team
From 1998 to 2000 The Hague Dragons trained under the auspices of the Dutch Dragons in Zoetermeer. From 2000 onwards they has raced as its own location in The Hague. Because of their enthusiasm, determination and hard training work on technique and condition, results have rapidly improved. In 2002 and 2003 The Hague Dragons won the Dutch national championship for corporate teams for the second consecutive year.
With an international scope
They did participate in the international contest for the Armadacup in Bern, probably Europe’s most spectacular dragon boat race over 9 kilometres in Switserland. In 2007 The Hague Dragons still belong to the best teams in The Netherlands. They like to win, but they like to have fun also.

Come and meet us in The Netherlands. Visit the nice city of The Hague / Scheveningen, the seat of the Dutch government, the beaches of the North Sea and the home of our Queen.
